Yes. Murphy is free with no animal limit, so one chameleon costs the same as two hundred snakes: nothing. Log feedings, weights, sheds and health for a single animal. Breeding and pedigree tools are there when you need them.
No. Murphy is offline-first. Records are written to your device and stay readable with no connection, no account and no subscription. Syncing is optional and additive; it is never a precondition for reading your own records.
Yes. Keep It Safe syncs your records across every device you sign in on, and lets two people or two locations share one collection. It is optional: without it, everything still works on one device.
Murphy was built with AI assistance. It does not run on AI. There is no model in the product and no inference at runtime. Every number on screen is arithmetic over records you entered and can be traced back to them. Nothing is generated, guessed or predicted.
On the free tier, nobody. Your records are on your device and are not transmitted anywhere. If you turn on syncing, they are stored in your own account so your other devices can read them. Murphy does not sell data and does not share it with third parties.
Any modern browser, and it installs to the home screen on iPhone, iPad and Android as an app. There is nothing to download from an app store.
Every Murphy program exports a full backup file you can restore onto the new device. If you have syncing turned on, signing in on the new phone brings your records down without a backup file at all.
No, and it will not. Murphy is record-keeping software. It does not identify species, diagnose illness, verify genetics or replace a veterinarian. Where a value would have to be guessed, Murphy abstains and says so.
